Acceptable use policy

ClickShadchan is a private shidduch service built on trust. Using it means agreeing to these rules, which are here to keep everyone safe and the process dignified. They apply in addition to our Terms and Privacy pages.

Be honest and be yourself

• Give truthful, accurate information about yourself. No fake, misleading, or impersonated profiles.
• One account per person. Don't create an account for someone without their knowledge, or share your sign-in outside your household.

Age — adults only (18+)

You must be 18 years of age or older to use ClickShadchan. Our service is exclusively for adults seeking marriage. Profiles for anyone under 18 are not permitted. We collect each member's date of birth, our team reviews profiles, and any account found to belong to a minor is removed immediately.

Respect other people

• Treat everyone with courtesy. No harassment, threats, hateful conduct, or unwanted contact.
• Keep what you learn about another person or family private — never publish, forward, or misuse it.
• Use the platform only for its purpose: finding a shidduch. No soliciting, advertising, or unrelated business.

Don't misuse the platform

• No unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity, and nothing that violates halacha or the law.
• No scraping, bulk-collecting, copying, or reselling profiles or other members' information.
• No attempting to access accounts, data, or areas you aren't authorized to; no interfering with, overloading, or probing our systems.
• No uploading of malware, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• No nudity, sexually explicit, obscene, violent, or otherwise inappropriate photos or content. Photos must be modest images of the member.

Strictly prohibited — zero tolerance

The following are absolutely prohibited on ClickShadchan. We remove such content and accounts immediately and report to the appropriate authorities:

• Child sexual exploitation or abuse. Any content or conduct that involves, sexualizes, exploits, abuses, or endangers a minor, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
• Non-consensual content. Any intimate imagery or other content shared without the depicted person's consent, and creating or maintaining a profile or sharing a person's information without their consent.
• Human or sex trafficking. Human trafficking, sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, or the facilitation, promotion, or advertising of any of these in any way.

How we enforce these rules

ClickShadchan is a curated, staff-moderated service — not an open dating app — which lets us keep the community safe:

• No public browsing. There is no public directory; members cannot browse or search for one another. Only vetted, approved matchmakers and our staff can view profiles.
• No open messaging. There is no member-to-member chat. Introductions are made through matchmakers, so there is no channel for unsolicited or abusive contact.
• Profiles and photos are reviewed. Our team reviews member information and approves photos before they appear; we remove anything that violates this policy.
• Age is checked. We collect date of birth and review accounts; anyone under 18 is removed.
• Activity is monitored. Our back office logs account activity, and we can pause, suspend, or permanently close any account that breaks these rules.
• Reports are acted on. Reports sent to us (see below) are reviewed promptly, and serious matters are escalated to the appropriate authorities.

If the rules are broken

We may remove content, and warn, suspend, or permanently close any account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk — at our discretion, and without notice where the situation calls for it. Serious matters may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
